Homemade granola

CHOCOLATE AND ALMOND GRANOLA

  • 300 g organic spelt flakes
  • 300 g chocolate pieces
  • 50 g chopped almond
  • 100 g maple syrup
  • 30 g unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 20 g extra virgin olive oil

FRUIT AND PUMPKIN SEEDS GRANOLA

  • 300 g organic spelt flakes
  • 100 g little chunks dried apricots
  • 100 g redberries
  • 20 g raisins
  • 30 g pumpkin seeds
  • 50 g dried apple
  • 100 g maple syrup
  • 20 g flaxseed oil

Directions:

CHOCOLATE AND ALMOND GRANOLA

In a saucepan, mix together oil, syrup and cocoa over a low flame until well mixed.

Remove from heat and stir in all of the other ingredients except the chocolate piecies.

Place on a baking sheet covered with oven paper and bake in preheated oven at 160 degrees for about 30 minutes, stirring often.

Allow it to cool to room temperature and then add the chocolate (we chopped ours into small chunks).
